I would like information on how to receive back the money I put up for bail for an individual. The case has been tried and a guilty verdict issued and defendant was remanded to jail and is awaiting sentencing 3/5/2010.

Thank you,
P Erdle

Hello, You have asked one of the most frequently asked questions that a bail bondsman receives. The short answer is, You don’t. The premium charged by a bail bondsman is his fee to get the defendant out of jail; this opportunity to be out is time that shouold be spent finding competent legal counsel and preparing for court and what ever happens after.

It is a fee that you are charged. This fee pays salaries, lights and everything else associated with running a business. This was fee was fully explained to you at the time of the bond being purchased.

Thank You

Hello Pedro.

The easiest way to get information that is not provided on the website would be to call my office, ask for Rob and find out if he knows of a trainer. The laws in Washington are pretty strict on what you can and can not do. Good Luck
